Michael Bradley, Choir Director

Minister Michael Bradley was born on September 10, 1989 to Wilken and Wanda Bradley in Washington D.C. Michael and his family attended Galilee Baptist Church where at the age of 4, a young Michael gave his life back to the Lord. After a Naval Base closure Michael and his family moved to Summerville, South Carolina, a Charleston suburb, in 1995. At a young age, Michael soon became an active member in his church and school communities. While attending Summerville High School, Michael was a very dedicated member of his school’s choral department and quickly moved from choir member to student director and composer. In 2008, Michael formed Worship, a group of believers that spread the gospel through song. Worship was formed while Michael attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he graduated with a B.M. in Music Education in 2012. While attending Berklee, Michael was licensed into the ministry on August 30, 2009 at his home church in North Charleston, SC. Michael has become a great writer and director in the fields of Choral and Gospel music respectively. Currently, Michael works as a Choral Director in the Boston Public School System and serves as the Praise and Worship Leader at Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop John M. Borders III.

Jeffrey Douyon, Praise Team Director

Jeffrey Douyon is a musician and worship leader from Cambridge, MA, and has been involved and in love with music and ministry from a very young age. He has been singing since the age of 4, and he picked up the piano at 8, drums at 12, and is in pursuit of learning the guitar and bass guitar. He came to Northeastern as a music industry major, and fell in love with UGE during his freshman year. Jeffrey is currently writing and recording his own music, singing backgrounds for Tolieth Marks and Louie Bello, and leading worship at his home church, Pentecostal Tabernacle, in Cambridge, MA. He is very passionate about music and his love for Jesus, and hopes that through praise and worship, both UGE and the UGE praise team can introduce others to the love of Jesus Christ. This year Jeffrey will be directing the UGE Praise Team, and looks forward to sharing their gifts with the Northeastern community and the city of Boston.
